Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)

"You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Sama'ria and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

We believe Jesus sends us in the power of the Holy Spirit with the great commission of making disciples in His Name. We see West Houston as our Jerusalem, Texas as our Judea, the USA as our Sama'ria, and international territories as the ends of the earth for us. We are engaged in witnessing to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in all these places.

There is a place in the Mission of Ascension Episcopal Church for all who are disciples of Jesus Christ. Join us and offer the Lord the use of your gifts and join the journey of faith.
