The training for the local Pastors began on July 3, 2006. After the training each pastor visits a home week for the next four years reaching more than 40,000 homes and 200,000 people each year.

AIDS is the leprosy of the 21st Century. It is destroying so many families. Please pray for us in this ministry. Jesus said we must be compassionate, just as our Father is compassionate.

The displaced people in the Diocese of Soroti, Uganda continue to return to their homes. African Team Ministries provides support to the Diocese to give the families seed and agriculture tools to enable people to be productive again.

One of Africa’s biggest problems is illiteracy and lack of education. In Uganda African Team Ministries is sponsoring literacy classes in 37 locations with 1,987 adults in attendance. Bishop Shalita supervises the program where Church leaders teach adults from 15-37 to read and write in Church buildings.
