Greeters and Ushers

The group of friendly smiles at the doors of Ascension are the Greeters. There is a large group of devoted members who graciously come early to church and remain late to greet the parishioners and visitors.

The Usher staff welcomes members and visitors with a service leaflet, a warm handshake, and a friendly smile. Occasionally it is necessary to assist with seating at crowded services. At each service, the number in attendance is taken. After the service, hymnals and prayer books are returned to the racks.

There is always a need for another warm smile, so please call the parish office if you would like to be a greeter or an usher. Schedules are sent in advance.
